Building blocks for a sustainable future

Big solutions depend on small building blocks.
Introducing the TDConnex Relay family.

We took our global expertise in micro-precision manufacturing and paired it with in-house R&D to build a better electrical relay.  Because the future depends on efficient energy delivered to billions of households, workplaces and devices around the world.

The TDConnex Relay is designed for smart energy and infrastructure applications.  Patented electromagnetic latching delivers switching that is more energy-efficient, less noisy, and longer-lived than existing switches.

Relays are one way we're building a better future, one component at a time.  We 're working to improve the efficiency of the 24,000+ Terawatt-hours of electricity consumed globally every year.

Innovation

A better relay for the world.

The TDConnex Relay uses patented electro-magnetic latching to deliver electrical switching that is more energy efficient, less noisy, and more reliable than existing mechanical relays.

  • Proven capabilities in micro assembly, metal injection molding (MIM), CNC, plastic injection, metal stamping, liquid silicone rubber, overmolding, and more.

  • Ability to produce at scale in China or India, for the global market.

  • Advance automation for large scale, agile production when volumes are uncertain.

  • Decades of innovation experience supporting many of the most ambitious technical products in the world.

Performance

The TDConnex Relay is already qualified and tested with global smart infrastructure companies who are working to deliver a smarter, safer, and more efficient electrical grid to power the needs of the global digital future.

In India, smart grid solutions companies are working with TDConnex to advance the large scale electrical infrastructure to support one of the fastest growing energy markets in the world.

Sustainability

The TDConnex Relay uses patented technology to significantly reduce parasitic electrical consumption and sparking risks.

Such parasitic losses can account for 2% to 4% of energy transmission losses in an electrical grid, as well as present fire safety risks.

The TDConnex Relay was developed through imagining a safer, more efficient, and more sustainable electrical infrastructure for the future.
