Overview
The Business Development professional plays a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding market presence for a manufacturing company serving leading global OEMs. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing strategic customer accounts, and leading commercial negotiations. Success requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to align customer needs with internal capabilities. The position works cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and finance teams to deliver competitive proposals and support long-term customer partnerships.
Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with global OEMs, including RFQ management and strategic account targeting.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer decision-makers across engineering, procurement, and leadership functions.
Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategy, and commercial terms in coordination with internal finance and operations teams.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to align customer requirements with manufacturing capabilities and timelines.
Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer roadmaps to inform strategic planning and drive revenue growth.
