Overview

The Business Development professional plays a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding market presence for a manufacturing company serving leading global OEMs. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing strategic customer accounts, and leading commercial negotiations. Success requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to align customer needs with internal capabilities. The position works cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and finance teams to deliver competitive proposals and support long-term customer partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with global OEMs, including RFQ management and strategic account targeting.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer decision-makers across engineering, procurement, and leadership functions.

  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategy, and commercial terms in coordination with internal finance and operations teams.

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to align customer requirements with manufacturing capabilities and timelines.

  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer roadmaps to inform strategic planning and drive revenue growth.
